Unfortunately no all people visiting Ireland If you have a story to tell |
Our first story will hopefully make our visitors aware of how they can be severely financially disadvantaged by not reading and understanding the terms and conditions when booking a ferry crossing to or from Ireland. A three day booking for a car and three passenger's was made with P & O Ferries for a crossing from Larne Co Antrim to Cairnryan in Scotland. Unfortunately due to a mechanical breakdown the traveler's arrived back at Cairnryan one day late, they were informed by P & O that the ticket was void and a new one was required, this one way ticket cost more than the original two way one. Surely this can only be construed as blatant profiteering, perhaps P & O stands for Prone to Opportunism. |
