For Weddings in Ireland.

Choosing Music For Your Service.

Claude Debussy.

Music the universal language of love. It will set the tone for your special day, from the soft opening bars of a harp, beginning the day to the last ecstatic chords at the end of a never to be forgotten night of celebration and dancing.

The first music of the day is at the church, or service venue, the choice here is entirely up to you. Normally with a church service the organist would play while the guests were arriving for the ceremony. This of course isn't mandatory. You could have a string quartet, a harpist or flautist to serenade your guests as they arrive.
The organ taking over for the brides arrival, and the singing of hymns, were it's volume is neededto give body for voices that may not be used to singing.

You might like a singer for the signing of the register, or have a soloist in the ceremony, performing a song which may have some special significance to you or your family.

At a civil ceremony, you are not constrained by convention. Again there is a wide choice, for you to set the tone you wish. Below are set out some of the most popular wedding classics. You can download and listen to many examples from the drop down menu's below, please feel free to save and use them as you please.

We have tried to make the music files as small as possible for downloading, a little patience is needed here. We are in the process of putting together a zip file which you will be able to down load all the tunes listed below. We will post it here when complete.
