Aran Islands Cruise And Angling  

View all three of the Aran Islands and view the spectacular Cliff of Moher on the way with the only cruise of its kind which enables you to do it all in the same day, giving ample time on each island for sightseeing, laze on the beach, or stroll around and cummune with the magic that is Aran.

These islands are extremely picturesque and the inhabitants retain th old Irish way of life. There are numerous archaeological and historical sites to be visited on the Islands. Mini bus and pony and trap tours available.

Deep Sea, Reef & Wreck Fishing  

Prospector 1 is a purpose built state of the art 33ft charter angling vessel.

We fish in Donegal Bay from the idyllic harbour of Mullachmore, County Sligo, Ireland in the summer months (ie May through October).

And in Dublin Bay, from Howth harbour, Howth, County Dublin, in the Winter months (ie November through April).

Deep Sea, Reef & Wreck Fishing Species include: Coalfish, Cod, Conger, Dab, Flounder, Gunard (Grey,Red, & Tub) Herring, John-Dory, Mackerel, Monkfish, Mullet, Pollock, Pouting, Ray, Skate,Smooth-hound, Top, Whiting, Wrass(Ballin & Cuckoo).  

Donegal Bay Boat Charter  

We operate a new high spec. Charter boat based in Donegal town and operating in Donegal Bay and the Sligo and west Donegal coast, and are fully Licensed by the Dept. of Marine.

Sea-angling: We offer wreck, reef, and shark fishing and Hire all Penn & Shimano fishing gear, we cover a lot of ground and are most interested in species hunting. Diving: We Dive wrecks, reefs, drop offs, fast drift dives and low energy dives with seagrass glades and kelp forest. Whalewatching:
We use a Hydrophone and so can listen to the Whalesong. While there are 24 species of Whales & Dolphins in our waters we normally only encounter Fin and Minke whales and Bottlenose Dolphins but any thing can turn up. Wildlife Tours: The boat is based in an S.A.C. and we share the area with a large colony of Harbour seals and some grey seals. The seals can be observed up-close 365 days per year. The area is also home to large numbers of Duck, Curlew, Oystercatcher, Heron, Dunlin & Swan.
We visit Inismurry and Rathlin O’Byrne Islands and the sea-cliffs with their vast Sea-Bird colonies, expect the expected! We encounter Basking shark, Sunfish, Bluefin Tuna even exotic flotsam that harbours unusual species.

Kenmare Bay Angling and Sightseeing Cruises  

You can charter our boat the M.V. Sturdy for a fishing party lasting half a day or a full day. The half day fishing trip is our most popular trip. The advantage of the full day charter is that we can go out further into the bay, thus increasing the variety of species that can be fished.

We have twenty years experience of navigating the bay and our aim is to make your voyage fascinating, pleasant and safe. On board there's, seating for ten people, a toilet, binoculars fishing rods and all safety equipment. From Mid May till September we operate fishing trips on the Kenmare Bay. During the cruise we will tell you all about the many features of the bay and the beautiful marine and wild life in and around it. You will see seals, foxes, and many other types of wildlife and birds.

Also you can charter our boat for half a day or a full day for fishing trips for groups of up to ten people.

West Donegal Sea Angling Charters  

Neil Gallagher is owner / skipper of Loinnir, with many years experience as crewman and skipper of various sizes and types of commercial fishing boats off the west coast of Ireland. West Donegal Sea-Angling Charters offers you the chance to sail and fish off Donegal, on Europe\'s most scenic and rugged coastline. It\'s a region full of history with many islands and a strong marine tradition.

Loinnir is an Aqua Star 43\' boat built to the highest specifications for deep sea angling with the maximum Department of the Marine safety Licence of 40 miles. The Loinnir is fully insured for 12 anglers and 2 crew, also Irish Tourist Board approved Loinnir operates from Burtonport and Bunbeg Harbours. We have a maximum 40-mile Department of Marine Safety Licence. This takes in an area from Donegal Bay in the south, to Malin Head in the north of the county. The Loinnir is also available for charter to diving clubs.

There are many fine diving sites around the islands - we\'ll be happy to show them to you. Our charter boat(s) are available from May to October for daylong trips, usually 10.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

We cater for all sorts of groups: from fishing clubs to corporate groups to diving clubs. Around the Donegal coast you can fish for Shark, Blue Fin Tuna, Conger Eel and plenty of other fish species.  

Charter Boat - Pisces II  

Pisces II is a Lochin 33 with a cruising speed of 15 knots. Fully approved and licensed for 12 passengers and a COP for 60 nautical miles. This very clean boat with massive deck space was launched in April 98. The vessel is now under the command of Mr Peyton Cunningham and is based in Carlingford Lough at the foot of the picturesque Mourne Mountains.

Skipper - Peyton Cunningham

Peyton’s local knowledge as a commercial fisherman and a keen angler has gained him the experience of finding the hotspots for species such as Pollack, cod, and conger. Spurdog, Skate, Turbot, Plaice, Wrasse and Bull. Huss can also be caught. A good run of Tope can be expected from June to September and Carlingford Lough currently holds the Irish record. Parties and individuals are catered for and rods can be supplied if required.

Trips across Carlingford Lough has proven to be a huge success with business people and families.

The boat can also be available for all types of survey work.
