Baking soda. |

1/2 Teaspoon |
Cream of tartar |

1/2 Teaspoon |
Buttermilk |
250 ml |
1/2 Pint |
Sieve all ingrediants into a mixing bowl.
Add buttermilk and mix with a knife to an elestac consistancy.
If a griddle is available flower it and form
the dough into a circle. Make cuts with a knife dividing the circle
into quarters, not right through.
When it begins to cook turn it over occasionally until it is fully
cooked
