Soda Bread.

Ingredient's.
Metric
Imperial
Plain flour. 400 g 1 Lb
Salt 5 ml 1 Teaspoon
Baking soda. 5 ml 1 Teaspoon
Cream of tartar 5 ml 1 Teaspoon
Buttermilk 500 ml 1 Pint
 

Sieve all ingrediants into a mixing bowl.
Add buttermilk and mix with a knife to an elestac consistancy.

If a griddle is available flower it and form the dough into a circle. Make cuts with a knife dividing the circle into quarters, not right through.
When it begins to cook turn it over occasionally until it is fully cooked.

Best served when warm with butter.
