Moor Abbey.
 

This Franciscan Friary was founded in the thirteenth century by Donough Cairbreach O'Brien, the remains consist of the nave, choir and a tower.

The Friary was burned in 1569 by Humphrey Gilbert, in the following year the friars returned and were massacred by the English troops.

Roscrea Round Tower.
 

(Crea's wood.)

Situated in the town centre of Roscrea this tower is some 6 Meters (20 Ft) shorter than its original height, having lost the top portion during the 1798 rebellion.

The most notable feature is a ship carved on the inner face of the second storey window.

Nenagh Friary.

This Dominican Friary church was probably founded some time before 1268 by Bishop Donal O'Kennedy. The surviving ruins are in a good state of repair, although non of the claustral buildings have survived.

The most notable features are the eight Early English lancet windows in the north wall of the choir, and the three large windows in the east gable wall.
