Kedue. |

The Town of Kedue which won the tidiest town in Ireland award in 2004 hosts the annual O'Carolan Harp Festival each August, the organisers of the 2007 festival have invited Morris dancers fron England Turlough O'Carolin although born in Nobber County Meath, had many associations with Roscommon. Mrs McDermott-Roe of Ballyfarnan house was his patron. Kedue is set in the north of County Roscommon, it is surrounded by the lakes, Lough Key, lough Allen and lough Arrow, as well as a few other smaller lakes one within walking distance of the town. If you are contemplating a fishing holiday Kedue would make an ideal base.
