Dundalk County Museum.
 

This museum is located in a beautifully restored warehouse, it has won many awards for the restoration and presentation. The museum portrays the rich cultural, social and industrial history, the many artifacts that it houses, together with interactive computer graphics, bring history to life.

The museum has a seventy two seat theater and runs a series of summer lunch time recitals. It also hosts a variety of historical reenactments, traveling exhibitions and workshops.

Drogheda.

 

Millmount Museum.
 

Set on top of a twelfth century Norman motte is a round fortress built at the time of Napoleon, it now houses the Millmount Museum. There is a collection of local memorabilia, including cannonballs from Cromwell's siege of Drogheda in 1649 as well as items associated with the Irish War of Independence and the Civil War.
