Cappamore is situated amid the lush farmland of County Limerick, near the Slieve Felim Mountains in the north east of the county, the area is famed for its dairy production and hosts an annual agricultural show in August which attracts visitors from far and wide. The town is about twenty minutes drive from Limerick city where many of its inhabitants work there, all the facilities you would expect of an Irish country town are available there. Gaelic sports are popular in the town with hurling probably leading the field
