Over the years, Clonshire has catered for riders ranging from top class Dressage, Showjumping and Eventing competitors to pure beginners of all ages. While the aims and ambitions of our clients vary greatly, the common thread is safe equestrian enjoyment in top class facilities on great horses.

Set on 120 acres of rolling parkland in the heart of the Golden Vale, The Clonshire Equestrian Centre was established on an old estate dedicated to horses and the pursuit of riding excellence.

The Foxhunting Centre of Ireland

Enjoy the thrill of the chase, racing over banks and ditches, following the scarlet coats of the huntsmen and the braying of the hounds. Fox-hunting is a particular speciality for the Hotel proprietors Bryan and Louis Murphy. They personally book all hunts and horses for our guests.

Hillcrest Equestrian Centre is situated on the borders of 3 Counties in a most picturesque location under the Galtee mountains.

We offer a large variety of activities including lessons to all standards in show jumping, dressage, stable management and a challenging cross country course. We also offer hacking, trekking , and a week long trail ride.
