Your images
should be in gif, jpg or png file
format, these should ideally be
235 pixels wide and no more than 35 Kb in size.
It is vitally important that your images have unique names otherwise if you upload an image with the name say pic1.jpg it will overwrite an image in the database with the same name, and if someone comes along behind you and uploads a pic1.jpg your image will be overwritten, we are currently working to resolve this problem.
In the meantime we would ask you to rename your images with something like pic1hfg4h6.jpg all you have to do is right click on your mage file and choose rename it is immaterial what you call your images as long as you use lower case only. You can also take this opportunity to check the image size, right click on it and choose Properties as long as it is less than 35 Kb it will be ok.
If it is more than 35 Kb you will need to resize it, if you are proficent with images and have software such as Photoshop you wont have a problem,
